Mr. James O'Brien is the co-founder of The VERTEX Companies and serves as President of VERTEX Environmental Services (VERTEX). Jim has a broad range of technical and management expertise in environmental consulting, remediation, construction management and risk management. In addition to serving as one of VERTEX’s LSPs, Jim has managed thousands of environmental site assessments, and remediation / redevelopment projects for some of the largest financial institutions in the world. These projects have been completed on industrial, commercial, and residential properties and have been geographically located throughout the United States, Latin America, Asia and Europe. |

Russell Fitzpatrick, LSP, REA

Mr. Russell Fitzpatrick has extensive experience in global environmental consulting, including worldwide due diligence, compliance assessments, the design and management of soil and groundwater investigations and remedial systems, property condition assessments, and portfolio risk management services. Russell’s experience includes the management and performance of thousands of projects at manufacturing, industrial and commercial facilities throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Canada. In addition to serving as one of VERTEX’s LSPs, Russell has worked on numerous multimillion and billion dollar Real Estate portfolio deals as an assessor of environmental risk. |

Benjamin B. Strong

Mr. Benjamin Strong has significant experience in the environmental industry, including the performance of large and small due diligence activities throughout the country, the performance of real estate portfolio review projects to assess environmental liability costs and develop mitigants to risk, Phase II subsurface investigations, and remedial projects, as well as management of lead and asbestos abatement projects. Ben has managed thousands of property transaction projects and has prepared numerous types of reports based on both client supplied specifications as well as original VERTEX templates. Ben coordinates the overall US due diligence practice of VERTEX, and provides each project with the sense of urgency and care that clients expect from VERTEX. |

Jaron Frieden

Mr. Jaron Frieden has a broad range of experience in the environmental industry including performing all aspects of Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, hydrogeologic field studies, design, permitting, remediation and human health risk characterizations. Jaron has been involved in hundreds of development, demolition and remediation projects throughout the United States. Jaron manages environmental and construction teams on projects that include site development, construction, demolition and pre-construction services. Jaron is well versed in handling the needs of attorneys, bankers, regulators, and corporate executives. |

Gregg Dehner

Mr. Gregg Dehner has significant experience in the environmental industry and has a broad range of technical and management experience in environmental consulting, Toxicology, and Remedial Management. Gregg has significant experience in the management of environmental site assessments and subsurface investigations for real estate transactions and management and closure of State and Federal regulated sites. Gregg coordinates the overall
staffing for VERTEX, in addition to managing a significant number of ongoing remediation projects throughout the United States and Mexico. |

Ms. Lisa Dehner has a broad range of experience in environmental consulting, including Phase I site assessments, underground storage tank compliance surveys and site investigations as well as weather forecasting and climate modeling. Lisa is VERTEX’s Director of Marketing, performing business development activities, market analysis, proposal administration and sales. Lisa also manages project work in Mexico and Japan including environmental site assessments and subsurface investigations. |
