VERTEX assisted our client in the preparation of Water Intrusion/Mold Operation and Maintenance Plans to standardize protocols promoting awareness, prevention, recognition, and management of moisture control and mold growth throughout owned properties. The plans provided specific roles and responsibilities of management, staff, and tenants, as well as provided procedures for inspecting and maintaining buildings to reduce the potential for mold related incidents. The Plans included a copy of industry guidelines and a framework to manage water intrusion events and mold remediation. Essential guidelines for communication, documentation, and training were also detailed.
