VERTEX performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at a portfolio of eighteen oil change properties on Iowa, Indiana, and Missouri. In addition to standard scope items, VERTEX assessed the sites for compliance with RCRA hazardous waste generation regulations and confirmed that the sites maintained adequate Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans. VERTEX also completed a Phase II Limited Subsurface Assessment at one of the eighteen facilities to assess potential impacts resulting from RECs identified during the Phase I ESA.
