VERTEX performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at a portfolio of twelve properties in Florida. Properties assessed included former agricultural rangeland and citrus groves, a former golf course, and undeveloped properties ranging from 50 to 1,200-acres in size. Properties also included derelict structures, areas of dumping, and various above-ground storage tanks (ASTs) associated with water well pump stations. In addition to standard Phase I ESA scope items, VERTEX also assessed the potential for endangered species and wetland areas on the undeveloped sites, as well as the potential for impacts associated with historic pesticide use.
