Location:
Colorado
Service:
Rapid Response Claims Management
Project Size:
$1.75 Million
VERTEX was retained by a commercial line insurance carrier to complete initial reconnaissance of a 20,000-gallon release of refined gasoline from a trenching operation accident that ruptured an 8” petroleum pipeline. The release impacted a 200 acre reservoir which abutted the pipeline rupture. VERTEX closely documented remedial response actions at key milestones. VERTEX performed remedial alternative feasibility reviews which subsequently led to hundreds of thousands of dollars in claims savings through negotiated soil/groundwater disposal methods with the insured’s consultants.
