VERTEX provided environmental consulting and construction support services for redevelopment of a site located in Rhode Island. The soil at the property consisted of urban fill that contained elevated levels of contaminants typically found in urban areas. In order to facilitate the redevelopment of the property, VERTEX performed a site assessment, regulatory submittals, delineation survey, soil characterization, remedial design, environmental monitoring and site closure activities.
On behalf of the client, VERTEX presented the environmental information and communicated with financial institutions and prospective purchasers to aid in the initial financing of the project and ultimate sale of the property.
