Vertex was initially contracted by the Surety to perform monthly CPM updates on a construction project that had performance issues. The contract involved a complete electrical, mechanical and architectural upgrade of a NYCTA Police Station. Once the contractor was formally defaulted, the Surety requested that Vertex be tendered over to the NYCTA as the completion contractor. The work included the following: quantified items in need of remedial work, CPM scheduling, complete construction management, coordinated and supervised all construction work, and coordinated effectively with the owner, engineers, and subcontractors.
