Vertex provided construction management for the $6,000,000 completion of a five-story office building serving as the Signal Headquarters for the #6 Train line in New York City. The project consisted of installation of a new electrical and signal system along with miscellaneous structural and architectural renovations throughout 20 train stations. The work included the following: a complete mechanical installation, heavy site construction including roadways, landscaping, sidewalks, and utilities, presentation and implementation of Value Engineering cost savings to the Surety at the time of take over, and coordination of a complete signal and electrical system change over.
