Vertex served as the Completion Contractor for the $13 million construction of Communication Rooms at the various stations for the New York City Transit Authority. Our scope involved all aspects of construction management and contract administration. The project involved: coordination of all work at the sixty-one locations including installation of structural steel, repairs to existing structural steel; installation of prefabricated buildings; structural steel painting, interior finishes; electrical and plumbing work; quality control management to ensure compliance of work to contract drawings and specifications; managed inspection process and completion of punch list for each location; and oversight of safety management.
